Terms and Conditions
We try to keep our terms and conditions straightforward. We hope you will agree that what we set out here provides clear guidelines of what you can expect from us and what we, in return, expect from you.
Payment for sessions:
Full Payment by Bank Transfer or cheque is required in advance of sessions - payment plans available
Session Cancellation:
Forest School sessions carry on in all weathers, excepting those considered to pose an adverse risk, such as high winds or thunderstorms. In such an event the session will be rearranged. If the session leader has to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances then the session will be re-scheduled.
Refund Policy:
Cancellation with the expectation of a refund for a season-related booking must be made at least 10 days before the start of the booked-for season or sessions, to allow enough time for others on the waiting list to be given the opportunity to attend. Note: There are no refunds given for individual sessions missed during a series, or for one-off sessions.
NOTE: Programmes are offered as an ENTIRE BLOCK, due to high demand, a growing waiting list, and programme costs, we cannot accommodate a "per day" rate. Spaces are given and held for the entire programme regardless of attendance.
Privacy policy
On behalf of 3 trees forest homeschool, I, Marc Barker trading as NatureConnect, and I, Amber Godwin trading as Barefoot and Wild, commit to protecting the privacy of the data you share with me and will only use it for the purposes of the Outdoor Sessions that you or your child attends. The following outlines these purposes:
1. Holding contact details so that if necessary or in an emergency I have appropriate contact details.
2. Holding date of birth and medical information as appropriate for the safety of you or your child during sessions.
3. Holding your email address and phone number so that I can contact you regarding current and future events.
The privacy of your information is important to me and I will use appropriate methods to ensure its security. I will not share your (or your child's) personal information with third parties except where required to do so by law or where it is necessary to do so to enable me to carry out the Forest School Sessions or where the data is required by a competent authority.
Necessary information may be shared between programme collaborators (Forest School Leaders/Educators) to ensure programmes can run smoothly - this information WILL NOT be shared outside of NatureConnect, Barefoot and Wild, or collaborating organizations (ex 3Trees).
I will retain personal information that I collect from you only for as long as I require it to carry out my services to you or as may be required by law or under relevant legal procedures.
It is necessary that I have your consent to retain and process your data to ensure that I can maintain contact with you about current and future events.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying Marc Barker by email.
If you are in any way dissatisfied with the manner that Marc Barker or Amber Godwin are managing your personal data, you have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Data Protection Officer.
